A new scholarship fund will help four graduating high school students in Pittsylvania County’s Banister District pursue higher education at Danville Community College.
The Banister District Scholarship will serve two male and two female students who meet criteria outlined by the Danville Community College Educational Foundation. The scholarships are funded by Mountain Valley Pipeline, LLC, the joint venture proposing the MVP Southgate project.
The students selected by the DCC Scholarship Committee will receive $5,000 each to support full-time studies at DCC.
