The MVP Southgate team is thrilled to share the company’s redesigned logo and brand, which captures the clear vision, strategic purpose and regional identity of the Mountain Valley joint venture and its projects. We’re proud to introduce a logo that positions Mountain Valley not just as a name, but as a symbol of the Most Valuable Pipeline in America’s energy landscape.

The Green Star: As Mountain Valley charts a strategic path to connect the Appalachian region’s prolific Marcellus and Utica formations to demand markets across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S., the star affirms the company’s significance, value and commitment to economic success, environmental sustainability and community engagement.
MVP Lettering: The bold, angular blue “MVP” lettering reinforces Mountain Valley’s vital importance in connecting critical energy infrastructure, supporting economic growth and ensuring reliable delivery of affordable, lower-carbon energy – all characteristics that underscore the value of the joint venture and the MVP Southgate project.
Mountain Line: True to the joint venture’s name, the white, jagged line in the MVP lettering is a stylized representation of the mountains and valleys present through the Appalachian region, highlighting the coexistence of this critical American energy infrastructure with the region’s unique terrain.
In its first 11 years, the Mountain Valley joint venture successfully constructed the 303-mile Mountain Valley Pipeline, spanning from northern West Virginia to southern Virginia. This interstate transmission pipeline has proven to be an integral component in our nation’s energy infrastructure system and will deliver natural gas into the MVP Southgate project. In that time, Mountain Valley has contributed more than $1.5 million to support various economic, environmental, civic and educational initiatives and groups in communities where it operates.
In the joint venture’s next chapter, Mountain Valley looks forward to continuing to build positive relationships, support local initiatives that create opportunities for communities and safely and responsibly construct the energy infrastructure – like the MVP Southgate – needed to empower American families and businesses to thrive.
