The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality is seeking public comment and will host a public informational briefing and a public hearing on a draft Minor New Source Review Permit issued by DEQ, under the authority of the Air Pollution Control Board. More information, including how to submit comment and/or request board consideration, is available here.

On July 26, 2019, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued its Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) on the proposed MVP Southgate project. The FERC accepted public comment on the DEIS until 5 p.m., Sept. 16, 2019, and hosted meetings where members of the public may provide comments on the DEIS. Those meetings were held:
